FINDING PEACE AMIDST CHAOS
Hello again Dear Friends,
Last month I wrote much about our current economic woes and why hearing the truth from our political leaders is just not electable at this time. I received more than the usual number of comments and responses mostly agreeing with the statements I put forth. It was refreshing to hear also that most of you seem to agree that at least a little self sacrifice from ALL of us in order. I hope this is in fact the case because I’m not too sure how much longer our economic system will function with United States borrowings soon to exceed 40% of all expenditures and our job creation very limited. This reality should be SHOCKING, but somehow most Americans believe we are immune from financial disaster! Just think for a moment where we would be if, like Greece, we could not print money and had trouble borrowing? If we, the United States, needed to mandate major cutbacks of services and benefits, do you think we might have some riots too?
We are at a TIPPING POINT RIGHT NOW and this is what my new book, coming out next month, will be addressing. We can hope and even pray that government and big business will get their act together, come up with some solutions and make some difficult decisions, but where is the URGENCY? It seems right now that a bit more pain is required before we hit bottom and make changes. It’s much like the individual who suffers through substance abuse, but until reaching rock bottom does little about it. We, the United States government and its citizens are addicted to debt and the false sense of prosperity we have grown accustomed to.
With a national election now only one year away it becomes more and more unlikely that anyone in an elected leadership capacity will stick their neck out for major change requiring self sacrifice. If this is the case then what do we, you and me, do in order to keep our sanity, our peace, and our smile in all this chaos? It’s quite understandable to have concerns and fears about our homes, our children, our retirement, our jobs, but what can we do about it?
It is imperative that we avoid a victim mentality and that we take total responsibility for our own personal well being, and our own current state of affairs. To do this we must understand and embrace the process by which we create and manifest what we desire. We must have the belief that we are the creators of our own life experience, and to deny this just feeds victimhood. Yes, we all have some ups and downs and we learn some wonderful lessons through these experiences, but for the most part, the life we are living today, RIGHT NOW, is the product of our thoughts, emotions, spoken words, beliefs, and actions! I know believing this may require a leap of faith, but if you are not getting what you want, and if you are filled with fear, then what are YOU doing to change?
We’ve all heard that a definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again, but expecting different results. If life isn’t working for you when it comes to your health, your finances, your spirituality, or your relationships, what are you trying differently that will make a change for you, anything?
It is imperative for each of us to understand that we are both energetic vibrational beings and physical beings. This is the duality of our life on Earth. Therefore, if you want a change in your life, you need to ask yourself what are you doing differently from a physical action component, and what are you doing differently with your thought, emotions, and words? (These are the elements that have a large affect on our individual vibration.) Do you have an answer for this question?
Changing one’s physical actions is easy for most to understand, but changing our vibration can be more difficult. How do we do it? There may be numerous answers to this, but the only consistent way I know is with a regular daily practice of meditation and affirmation. I know this can be difficult for many, but it is a requirement of the creation and manifestation process. If you do not believe in meditation and affirmation, and our non physical existence, then what is your answer for personal change and transformation?
Affirmation is what you tell the universe that you are. The Universe will hear and will respond to what you say about yourself. Do you downgrade yourself verbally or do you only speak of that which you desire to be? Please, take a moment right now and review what you say about yourself on a regular basis. Is it in line with what you desire for yourself or is it a statement of what you do NOT want?
Meditation is a process by which we first clear and then gain control of our mind and its vibrational energetic powers. Learning through meditation to first quiet our mind, and then to create, is the gift we are all given, but few of us take advantage of it. Both affirmation and especially meditation take regular practice and a great deal of faith. There must be an accumulation of energy built up to affect change and this will take some time. Does change and transformation mean enough to you to learn how to do it? If so THEN GET STARTED!
The above is what I teach at my speaking and workshop presentations. In the months and years ahead it appears we will be going through a great transformation on our planet perhaps being first noticed with our financial systems. Are you up for the wonderful challenges ahead? Please contact me anytime to discuss details of what I can provide for you, your business, or your organization.
With love and appreciation,
