Oneness with the Universe / The Journey to Oneness Begins
I first started considering and contemplating the concept of Oneness with the Universe over twenty years ago when I read the Richard Bach novels “One” and “Illusions."
As I read more and more on the subject over the years it became one of my truths, but frankly, more on an intellectual basis than an emotional heartfelt belief.
For me, this all changed forever during my hiking trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro in August of 2005. Many of you know this story as I often repeat in my speaking engagements, but here it is in abridged format one more time.
Oneness with the Universe / The Path to Oneness Opens Up
At the conclusion of our first day on the mountainside of Mt. Kilimanjaro I witnessed some of the most beautiful sights of nature imaginable. First, after ascending through the clouds of the rainforest I was on a plateau, sun shining brightly in my face, looking down on a magnificent sea of dark clouds.
Next, I witnessed a setting sun reflecting beautiful colors on these very clouds below us, and later that evening an awesome starlit canopy unlike any I had ever witnessed. Simultaneously, I was observing our groups loving interaction with twenty-four Tanzanian guides and porters all of whom we had known for just hours.
As my wife, Julie, and I entered our tent to go to sleep that night my eyes began to tear with the emotion of the day and the sights. I felt an overwhelming sense of appreciation and gratitude.
I now not only understood, but also felt to my inner core what Richard Bach and so many others referred to as Universal Oneness. Yes, somehow, someway there was a common thread, a oneness between EVERYTHING! The clouds, the sun, the stars, the animals, the trees, and yes, the people. I will never forget the feeling that evening in Africa. Yes, we are ALL CONNECTED, and that is DIVINE TRUTH!
Oneness with the Universe / The Oneness Consciousness
So what’s the big deal about GETTING IT? What I have discovered is that the accepting and embracing of Universal Oneness, and the practice of LOVE which holds the Oneness together, are key ingredients which allow us to access the sometimes hidden treasures of our Earth and also Higher Dimensional Intelligence. In short, developing a ONENESS CONSCIOUSNESS will bring you a freedom to experience living with happiness in the present moment.
If you have read my latest book, “WAKE UP! YOUR LIFE IS CALLING!” you know that late in the book I disclose that I had help with the writing, and this help came in the form of Higher Dimensional Intelligence. I go on to explain that there is nothing special about me, and that ALL of us have the same ability to access these higher dimensions, IF we can just unclog our portals.
Think about it for a moment, who would not like to have the ability and opportunity to access life’s answers? We all have difficult and stressful times in life (money, relationships, health) and we all find ourselves searching for answers. Sometimes the answers arrive, but often they do not. WHAT IF YOU COULD ALWAYS GET ANSWERS?
Oneness with the Universe / Opening Your Portals
This is what my book addresses, and understanding Oneness with the Universe is just one of the ways we open our portals. Another way is stepping back, if even for just a day or two, from the onslaught of negative media news.
Engulfing ourselves in politics, disease, violence, terrorism, and financial despair numbs our senses and blocks our portals to love, light, and spirit. Getting caught up in these negative things also brings our vibratory rates doen to their same levels, so that we will only attract more of the same.
Do you have the courage to turn off the TV news for just one day? Or perhaps, try listening to soft music in your office this week instead of the CNN crisis of the day.
Oneness with the Universe / Attaining Oneness
For the past thirty years I have been an avid hiker in both the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado, and love viewing and interacting with the wildlife. This past summer, after over 1000 hikes I had three first time experiences. I came within 30 feet of a black bear, I saw a mountain lion with her two new cubs, and had a wonderful close up experience with a red tail hawk.
There was never any danger or anxiety, and I am convinced that my rising personal vibrations around Universal Oneness is what opened the portals to these incredible outdoor experiences.
