DOES IT FEEL LIKE THE START OF A NEW YEAR?

Hello again Dear Friends,

I don’t know about you, but as the summer ends and we get into September I am always invigorated to start something new and make some meaningful changes in my life. It may be the laziness of summer passing or the childhood remembrance of returning to school, but it feels like the start of a new year and new adventures. For me, it is my new book “WAKE UP! YOUR LIFE IS CALLING”. The book will be available in just a few weeks and it is all about activating spirit, happiness, and abundance. I think you will love the chapter titles, and for a quick peak plus 3 free chapters click here.

As I sit down to write and share my message for this month I try hard not to be overly repetitive in the suggestions I offer, and at the same time try and keep things simple. In my speaking engagements I am continually reminded by my audiences of how they appreciate it when I remind them of the basics. It’s almost amusing, but as a speaker I strive to bring new and refreshing information to my presentations, but my biggest thank you almost always seems to pertain to basics I continually review. I guess we all need that strong foundation from which to build.

In June I spoke of how our life is a beautiful white canvas that we get to create exactly as we desire, IF we know the steps and have the tools. As we head into autumn, change is in the air so let’s review a few more of the essential ingredients for manifesting our life’s dreams. This is the major topic of my speeches, workshops, and new book.  www.andyfeld.net.

How much of our happiness and abundance is related to our relationships? Relationships at work, relationships at home with spouse, children, and parents, and relationships in more public settings?  Here are a few pointers that may really help.

  1. It is not another person’s job to make you happy. It’s your job! So many individuals that I speak with tell me they would be happier if their co-workers or spouse would just do………….. Happiness is an inside job, and whenever you base your happiness on what others need to do you are setting yourself up for disappointments.
  2. Whatever you think another person is thinking, you are wrong! You may be wrong by an inch or a mile, but we can never know exactly what another is thinking. What I have observed, especially in the workplace and with friendships is that so much upset is caused when we think we know what another is thinking.
  3. We all have the ability to choose where our focus is relative to another. EVERYONE has attributes that we may like and other attributes which drive us crazy. Here is the key! At any given moment we have the choice as to where we want to focus our attention regarding another.  Yes, it is a choice. For a change tomorrow, why not focus only on those wonderful attributes you love about your spouse or co-workers and see how the relationships can flourish.
  4. Relationships may have a life of their own and they do come and go. That’s OK! Recently, at one of my speaking engagements, an older gentleman came up to me with a big smile and proclaimed that a big reason for his happiness was his ability to “weed his relationship garden”. He explained that he was no longer willing to spend time with those individuals who preached negativity and loved pity parties, and he simply weeded them out of his life.

Another big key to “painting our life’s canvas” is understanding the Oneness of the Universe, another major topic in my new book, which we will discuss more next month. For the next few weeks think about that common thread which exists between people, animals, plants, the stars, in fact everything. What is this thread and what holds it all together? This is one of my favorite subjects with groups today.

This fall will be busy for me with speaking presentations scheduled for New Jersey, Minnesota, New York, Connecticut, and several here in Colorado. I would love the opportunity to address your group as well. WWW.ANDYFELD.NET   ANDY@ANDYFELD.NET
