CONSCIOUS TRANSFORMATION OR REACTIVE CHANGE? YOUR CHOICE
Hello again Dear friends,
Daily life can sure get fast paced and busy, and it’s very easy to allow ourselves to live in a constant reactive mode. Reacting to the ups and downs at work, reacting to the moods of those close to us, reacting to the latest horror story on the evening news, reacting to personal illness etc, etc, etc. It’s a trap that is so easy to get into.
Yes, reacting does cause change in our lives. We continually rearrange our life and schedule to meet the problem of the moment, and we allow our well being to also be affected by everything that is going on around us. Before we even realize it, we are living a life of ongoing reactive change. We receive a negative stimulus, then react and change, allowing this to go on over and over again. It does not take long for this roller coaster of reaction to become our standard operating procedure, often without even realizing what is going on.
Do you want to continue on with a reactive life often accompanied by chaos and disappointment, or would you like to turn the tables and live a life of conscious transformation? Conscious transformation means that you are deciding on your daily life path and that ultimately you are creating your own life experience. It is a choice we all make, whether to just float along reacting to all that goes on around us, or to be the creators of our experience.
The first step to a path of conscious transformation is simply the recognition and awareness of how reactive our lives have become, and deciding to do something about it. This may sound obvious, but from personal business experience I know just how easy it is to fall into a routine of reaction, reaction, reaction.
Now, it’s time to ask the Universe to respond to us instead of vice versa. What do we want from our relationships, our business and finances, and our bodies? MAKE A LIST! Yes, make a list of exactly what you want in your life and be specific! Now that you know what you want let’s begin the creation process.
The life experience we create for ourselves is the product of our beliefs, thoughts, emotions, spoken words and actions. THIS MUST OCCUR WITH A CONSCIOUS PROACTIVE APPROACH! After we make our list, it becomes imperative to begin a regular (daily) meditation practice where first we clear our mind and heart of unwanted negative useless thoughts and emotions, and then consciously imagine and feel what we desire to manifest. A regular practice of meditation and affirmation will begin to allow us to free ourselves from the reactive non productive tendencies which hold us back. Next, taking conscious affirmative action regarding our spoken words and actions will allow the five elements of the manifestation process to begin its work.
I know, to most, I make this all sound very easy, in fact too easy, and you are correct. The process of proactively and consciously creating what you desire requires a lot of work and practice. Frankly, that is exactly why so many are not succeeding. Tell me, how much practice would it take to become an expert piano player, or expert artist, or expert golfer? It’s the same with our lives. The process requires lots of practice and effort and really, there are no shortcuts.
Understanding the energetic powers of our beliefs, thoughts, emotions, words and actions is a basic starting point. Add onto this, self love, Universal Oneness, and a connection to our spirit self and the manifesting process begins to be more clearly understood.
